May 29, 2025:

After a great deal of thought, I’ve decided to suspend my campaign for Livonia City Council.

Back when I filed to run, I did so out of genuine concern for the future of our city. At the time, I didn’t see any candidates on the ticket who I felt fully represented the values of our community or had the leadership experience to guide Livonia into its next chapter. While my background is more rooted in state-level issues, I stepped up to take on the challenge of a local race - not out of personal ambition, but because I believe in public service and doing what’s best for the future of our community.

Now that the filing deadline has passed, I’m encouraged by how this race has evolved. Three individuals - Kathleen McIntyre, Robin Persiconi, and Brian Meagher - have stepped up as candidates since I originally filed, and I believe they are running for all the right reasons. They bring a strong understanding of municipal issues, a dedicated record of service to our city, and the integrity to stand up for what’s right.

That’s why I’m proud to suspend my campaign and fully endorse Kathleen, Robin, and Brian for Livonia City Council. I believe they’re the right leaders to help shape our local Livonia future, and I’ll be doing everything I can to support their campaigns and help them get across the finish line in both August and November.

While I’m stepping back from this race, I’m not stepping away from Livonia. I’ll continue to stay involved in the issues that matter most to our families and community. This isn’t the end - just a pause. I remain committed to our city and to public service, and I’ll continue serving our community in every way I can. Right now that service takes the form of helping these three quality candidates get elected!
